Our sweet Callie made her journey to Heaven tonight.

The best dog in the whole world has left us. Our hearts are heavy and we'll be so lonely without her. Callie made our home complete, and I hope she knows how much we love her. Thank you Callie for the most wonderful and joyful years you brought to our lives. We will never be the same.

Love, Your Family

Even when he was sick, Brayden loved his woo-woo!

She was his other mommy, always making sure he was ok.

She was easy going and fun.

She could be silly (here she is beating up troy).

After a bath.

Callie, my mom, Lady, Grandma, and me back in Utah.

Callie always loved Christmas time (and stockings).

She loved Washington and the deer she would chase.

This was when we first got her at 9 months.

Such a sweetie!

Oh Cal, I will miss you sweet personality and kind spirit. Our nights will be empty without hearing you snoring. Our ears will miss the 'swoosh' of the doggy door. My cleaning will never be the same without my little "Hoover" all it took was two taps with my foot, and the food on the floor would be gone. Who will eat Brayden's Cheerios now without you here? I'll miss you everyday, and I'll think of you every time I hear Cheryl Crow's: My Favorite Mistake. The song was your favorite, and you 'sang' (howled) it your whole life. I'll miss your silent, but deadly toots. Troy will now have to take the blame for his own farts. Last but certainly not least, I'll miss you and your loving personality. I'll never forget the first time I saw you...I knew you were ment for our family and I'm so thankful you picked us to take you home.

To Sippie or Soothie?

So I have been unsuccessful at trying to get Brayden off the bottle.... but recently I found a sippie cup that he'll actually put in his mouth! Take a look....

So, as you can see, he likes to fool me into thinking he will change his ways and go for the sippie cup. But in reality.... just him holding it and putting it in his mouth to chew on is as far as it goes! Ugh, can't we ever get rid of the nasty bottle?! I'm so sick of them, and sippies are so much easier!

Wheeler Farm

So on Thursday Mike insisted that we go to Wheeler Farm. Well, it was pretty cool actually (even tho I am allergic to hay, and a farm has plenty of it). But Brayden LOVED the animals, and I got some great shots of him and my step dad. Special thanks to Mike for introducing him to chickens, roosters, turkeys, horses, ducks, geese, sheep, and a moo-moo. He sure is an adventurous grandpa! Lucky Beez.

Lets Swim!

So for the past week we went to Utah and stayed with my parents. We made many trips to their pool. Here are a few sneak peaks at what happened....

They require you shower first, not a plus.

Getting him into his floating device, again, not a plus.

This was him yelling for no particular reason, just because he could.

He kept saying "ooooo."

I'm thinking this might be ok....

Sweet! I'm not scared now, this is fun!!

Give me that water!

Oh yeah, I'm happy now!

I wonder if it tastes good?

Splash!

Knocked out!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for all the fun in the sun!!

I decided since Brayden is 14 months old to post some now and then photos! And some tantrum photos also! Enjoy!!

For those who feel left in the dust, here's an update about us!

So this is whats going on. We decided a few months ago to decline orders to Washington and move back home. Now, sadly, I report that we have extended and we are going to be in Vegas a while longer. What will most likely happen is.... Troy will re-enlist while he is in the desert.... YES, the desert. And we'll stay in Vegas until we get orders somewhere else. Troy is leaving again the first week of September. It sucks, yes I know... But we just have to live with it, so don't feel bad for us!

On the other hand, a few weeks ago Troy went to his friends ALS (Airmen Leadership School) Graduation. I have to say, I'm married to one hot guy! And a plus side to his job is that he wears really cute 'blues' which means suit in air force.

(Jason and Troy)

Here's my update: I'm still working part time as a ophthalmic tech with the doc on base and I'm annoyed with property fliers and rarely do it. So I'm trying to go back to school this semester. But the funny thing is... I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. With my generals pretty much done, I don't know what classes to take. So I figure I'll continue taking Business and Design classes. Can't go wrong with that, right?

Now, lets do the fun part! Update about Brayden!! He has 8 teeth, 4 on top, 4 on bottom. He weights about 24 pounds, and he is talking! Currently his favorite thing to say this week is "OOH OOH OOH" and I'm guessing he means "no" because every time I do something he doesn't like, I hear "OOOH OOOOH!!" Fortunately his vocabulary is expanding to: "ut-oh" "yissss" (which was his former favorite word) "bah" "hi" "momom" "dadddd" (yes he exaggerates the 'D' sound) and "woo-woo" for Callie. I can't believe that my little boy is growing up so fast! He is constantly changing and getting taller everyday! Hope he knows how much we love him (even when he's pulling my hair).

Peace And Quiet

They look like angels when they sleep, don't they? Too bad they aren't like this all the time. When they sleep so soundly and cuddly, I forget that my 'kids' can be real trouble makers!!
